I’ll say this, though: it’s amazing to get these many bruisers in the game of power.

If we keep going at this rate we will have a 1000hp pony car in 10 years. At what point do they stop?
Not complaining or anything.

Basically. I feel these front pagers feel they need to bring it up (like the Miata) with hopes they'll get a COTD or out of the grays.

Hey man, I’m just looking out for your points. Think about it: they see you heading out into the hellish wasteland that is the FP comment section, they might start to get scared you never come back, right? I might as well hold onto them, y’know, add them to my points, keep ‘em nice and safe in case you don’t make it. If you somehow survive then sure, you can have them back, but I think it’s best for your points to come hang out with mine for a bit. At least until Robo’s series ends. That’ll give you plenty of time to respond to every FP burner and troll. It’s really for the best.

A trade: if I die I’ll give you my points but you must drive a Toyota Avenis the rest of the series.

My only complaint is the poor visibility. Other than that, there’s no other reason for me to hate it other than the fact that I generally don’t like American cars.

At what point do they stop?
There’s only so much a certain group of cars can do, and automakers still have to be mindful of what’s above them.
Consider this:
You have a GT350R Mustang and the New Ford GT. You may be able to make a GT350R that’s better than the New GT for less on the sticker, but that’s already going over a tier; it’s not an underdog anymore. You’re supposed to beat a supercar while still not being a supercar.

To be fair, I drove the first body style of the new camaro some years ago and I couldn’t see where the shit I was parking. It (was) definitely a large issue.

Trust me. If the “Ceiling” is the GT... That “Ceiling” will trend upwards for a few years to come.

Same with German cars and reliability. Particularly check engine lights and VW, I’ve owned VW’S for 4 of the 7 years I’ve been driven and still no CEL. They could just have a good point and get followed that way.

Could it be down to manufacturing locations with VW?

It’s plausible, I’ve had two Wolfsburg built and one built in Navarro, Spain

Well we have American and Mexican built ones along with those.

But you’d think after all this time they would have improved in those factories (well not chattanooga, it’s not old)

1000 is going to happen soon for sure, its been shown countless times that with minor-ish internal upgrades and a turbo or two the LS series is already ready for that power.
Transmissions that can handle that much power long term may actually be the bigger issue, that and emissions.

I can see that. I got in a Z/28 right after my car and it was definitely a different experience inside. Bigger greenhouse than the 6th gen so having small windows was weird but manageable. In the 6th gen you feel like you're in an actual sports car so the small windows feel a bit more natural.
